I'm Thomas Paras: a systems-minded creative living in San Francisco.
For a decade at TripIt, I maintained the pattern-matching rules that turn a confirmation email into a travel itinerary. There were thousands of them, one or more for nearly every airline, hotel, and booking site. When an email didn't parse, I worked out why and fixed it.
When AI coding tools arrived, I jumped in early. With Claude Code, I built tools that took me from closing 3–4 tickets a day to 10–12. Now I build small, focused tools of my own, and a few of them are just below.
For nearly two decades, I've also volunteered at Bindlestiff Studio, the epicenter for Filipino American performing arts, as an actor, playwright, director, and producer.
